Kanahooka High School acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our school stands, the Dharawal people. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our community.
We recognize their ongoing connection to the land, waters, and culture and are committed to fostering a learning environment that values and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
As an educational institution, we strive to honor this connection by embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions into our learning and teaching practices.
