KHS tries out Water Polo.

Kanahooka High School took part in the Select U15 South Coast competition for the region earlier this term. Represented by seasoned swimmers from both Dapto and Wests Swimming Clubs, the group braved the competition against teams fielding state level players with experience to spare.

However, Water Polo, a sport which our players are now much more familiar with, is highly physical and very demanding. A great day was had by all as time was spent with friends from other schools, being clobbered in the pool and exhausted from matches. This made for memories lasting as long as the bruises and scratches.

So when asked if they were keen to play again, all players raised their arms as high as they could and will be back next year perhaps with a boys’ team as well. Well done!
